ABSTRACT

Becoming skills are the skills of focusing on the team not as at the moment, but rather as in the process of becoming. Effort-focusing skills are the skills to recognize the efforts made by themselves and others. Spotting-improvement skills are the skills in noticing any improvements a teammate is making. Contribution-recognition skills are the skills in pointing out to others how their efforts contribute to the progress of the team. Evaluating-action skills are the skills to objectively evaluate the actions taken. Credit-sharing skills are the skills of giving or sharing credit, rather than taking credit, for an idea or achievement. A person who is secure does not need constant recognition. Giving credit keeps the whole team motivated. The more encouraged the team is, the more successful the team will become—and the more successful one will become. Celebration skills involve rewarding and thanking each other after achieving the goal.
