ABSTRACT

According to the basic equation (1.9), if the dc current I exceeds the value Ic, it cannot be carried through the junction by the supercurrent IS alone. The average values of the current components ID and IF always equal zero, so that some part of the current should be carried by the normal current IN: ()https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML">I=I¯S+I¯N, I¯N≠0.https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781315141572/0ba78ca1-05bc-4a29-bdf3-856e8fbc4b17/content/eq274.tif" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/>
