ABSTRACT

Don Howard observed that people were wearing classier attire than they did at the tenth reunion. But that could either be a signal that they were more prosperous or that they felt they had to try harder to impress others. Kathy commented that few of them wore what they wore to work, since virtually no one showed up in business casual attire. She longed for a return to a better time when people dressed more formally for work, for travel and even out shopping at the malls. Rob and Kathy McKee got permission to leave early to begin their teaching term but also committed to finishing work they had started. They had been talking about yet a reentry into the academic world, and the other staff members began to realize that the senior tier of the firm could well be gone in short order.
