ABSTRACT

The no-blame system model has proved its worth in industry, airline safety, hospitals, and many other settings. However, it has also encountered significant resistance, and there have been strong efforts to limit its application as well as efforts to reject its implementation altogether. The advantages of implementing the no-blame system have been clearly demonstrated, and in order to take full advantage of the model is it essential to adopt it without limits or compromise. Placing limits on the no-blame system involves placing limits on the deeper systemic inquiries into problems, and such unlimited inquiries are the primary benefit of the no-blame system.
