ABSTRACT
Regardless of the label, the adults around the children are desperate
and do not know what to do or how to achieve control.
Another group of children referred to our service are the victims of
bullying, on the basis that if a child is bullied there must be something
wrong with them as a person. It is not surprising that blaming the
victim for being bullied leads to more depression and low self-esteem.
