ABSTRACT

This chapter examines issues related to the climate crisis and agriculture. It evaluates how agriculture is impacting global climate change, and conversely, how climate change is affecting agriculture. It looks at some of the global disparities of climate change impacts, as well as the central issues of human population and food security. Religious responses to climate change are considered throughout the chapter, particularly in terms of the extent to which they have, or have not, considered agriculture and food. In the end, two alternative models of climate friendly farming are explored.
