ABSTRACT

Scientific knowledge is derived from observation, study, and experimentation. Science is systematic and exact and follows a scientific method. Society greatly shapes the public's perception of scientific matters. The general thought about science is that the profession is not responsive to society's needs; the process of answering questions and meeting needs takes too long. Scientific research is the process of balancing objectives and motivation to advance knowledge and the understanding of human behavior. Standards of research, such as honesty, integrity, and objectivity, are the foundation for conducting science. Publication in scientific journals is a crucial part of scientific research used to present technical information. Science is shaped by curiosity, conscience, and creativity-factors that are important in science and ethics because they contribute to new ideas, promote knowledge, and provide guidance. Creativity in science refers to finding truths and communicating facts, while general creativity is more involved with expression of thoughts and emotions.
