ABSTRACT

Private security has never labored under these restraints or these delusions of performance. Private security is what it says that it is, private first and then communal. On top of this, private security has the power of choice; to pick this or that and to not engage this or that. When compared to the public system, the private system is so extraordinarily capable of efficiency. In contrast to the public system, private security is not compelled by the latest fad or social justice initiative invented by out-of-touch politicos and academics. Private security does not live off the public largesse and thus has to be picky and efficacious in its choices. Privatized services are a reality that no reasonable observer can deny. To privatize is to transform a once delivered and performed public service to be assumed by a private entity.
