ABSTRACT

This chapter aims to outline the methodological framework, the methods and the sources of information used in the empirical research. The chapter begins with the author’s self-positioning within the Burrell and Morgan (1979) framework, described previously in Chapter 2. The research methods and the information sources used in the empirical study are presented in the second part of the chapter. This includes a brief description of the history of the three enterprises investigated in the main part of the empirical research.
