ABSTRACT

Chapter 10 focuses on recognising achievements and describing them succinctly. This chapter provides valuable information for resumes and interviews. It covers seven most common achievement areas: teamwork; quality; commitment; timeliness; people skills; communication and customer service. In addition, it identifies other achievements such as computer skills; software tools; problem solving and analysis, as well as self-motivation skills. It teaches graduates how to recognise these achievements and respond to questions about them. The development of short achievement statements prepares material that can be valuable in responding to job criteria and interviews.
