ABSTRACT
In this concluding chapter, we reflect on what we have learnt about translation and translanguaging. The playwright Edward Albee wrote: “I write to find out what I’m thinking”. This is certainly a book in which our thinking developed as we wrote. Perhaps all books are, but the conventions of academic writing tend to mask the emergence of thought and present arguments as if they have always pre-existed.
