ABSTRACT

Human nature is unalterable. Human nature cannot be transformed by any revolutionary change. Only human beings are able to seek the truth, to see beauty and harmony in the world, to engage in moral reflection, and to reflect on their own lives. In view of their ability to deliberate on ethical issues, people are not only rational beings, but also moral beings. People can improve morally and intellectually. Thanks to the influence of their social environment, to their education, and to their own efforts, all human beings can become morally better. Human beings can achieve success only through cooperation with others; alone, the human being is at best only free. Culture is an artificial, human-made environment-material, social, and spiritual-by which human beings achieve their objectives. Education has a great impact on the development of human beings. The goal of all states should be to work together for the sake of the security, peace, and prosperity of all humankind.
