ABSTRACT
Based on language philosophy, the author argues for an understanding of dignity and Human Rights as claims of the individual woman, man and queer. These speech-acts found and ground Human Rights as social realizations of the individual person. Claiming one’s dignity and equality of freedom and rights necessarily calls for respecting the freedom and rights of all other persons of the community since the validity condition of dignity is the dignity of each individual person.
