ABSTRACT

Use the diagram as a guide for the position of your bone channels, these are 0.7cm wide with bones that are 0.5cm wide. There are three bone channels across each seam and these are sewn on to the right side of the corset. For a simpler version of this corset the multiple bones channels can be replaced with a 1cm wide bone channel in each panel seam with 0.7cm wide bone. The number of bones you include can be adjusted if you require more support; these can be added in the centre of panels 2, 3 and 4. At the centre back there is a central eyelet channel that is 1.3cm wide on both sides for lacing up the corset. The busk channel at the centre front is shaped to fit a spoon busk; this can be replaced with a straight busk that is 1.3cm wide on each side.
