ABSTRACT

The tourism and entertainment industry is an important component in the world’s service sector. Entertainment tourism has received more attention, not only from practitioners, but also from academics. This study investigates the importance and performance of the entertainment products in Macau from the customers’ perspective. The questionnaire was designed and analyzed using IPA analysis. The results show that the six categories of entertainment products had different performance outcomes on tourist experiences in Macau. Family fun was the most popular entertainment product, followed by gaming and shows. This study provides recommendations to gaming stakeholders, including entertainment suppliers and government.
