ABSTRACT

The young and enterprising Commander-in-Chief of the Kuwait Army is Brigadier Mubarak ibn Abdullah al Jabir, son of the Special Adviser to the ruler. When in uniform he presents a well-built figure of suitably military bearing, with the alert look of the professional soldier. Sandhurst-trained, and speaking fluent English, he has the uncompromisingly modern outlook of the new generation of Kuwaitis.
