ABSTRACT

Politics itself has changed in terms of its ontology (what it is and how it works) and in terms of our understanding and potential understanding of what it is and where it is to be found at work. Politics now reaches more effectively inside the subject, organizing its formation and defining its possibilities. Education is the key instrument in this transformation. Schools constitute the paradigm institution of education as we know it. The school is a modern invention. Education operates, always, as a disciplinary regime, demanding submission of the subject to the regimen. Education institutions follow an undemocratic structure. Education is temporally parallel to industrialization with its intensification of the mining of earthly resources and its desire to organize and maximize human resources.
