ABSTRACT
In this song we hear money cycles through the economy from the landlord to the farmer to the grocer to the banker. They sing “everybody’s happy … just as long as the money changes hands.” With the money changing hands, it gives us another opportunity to discuss the multiplier effect. When an infusion of money is made into an economy, the gains go beyond the initial cash payment.
