ABSTRACT

Everyone knows that young children are demanding and need time from their parents. But the situation is more complicated with teenagers. Teenagers usually need to spend more time with children of their own age. Difficulties often arise with teenagers when parents either have decided to leave the teenager with too much unsupervised responsibility or when parents have been too confident that they know what their teenagers life is like and how they should behave. Teenagers communicate in unexpected moments when they feel it is safe to do so. Find ways to help Professionals' teenager play genuinely helpful roles in their home. Teenagers grow in confidence when they are given real responsibility. Take an active interest in the world around Professionals and find ways to share their interests and enthusiasms and dilemmas with their teenager.
