ABSTRACT

What to do after completing the profile After completing the profile, the practitioner can move straight on to the detailed information in Part one, which focuses on each life skill presented in the profile in turn. The practitioner can go directly to the life skills that the profile has shown the teenager to be struggling with. They will find a wealth of fascinating research, the psychology underpinning why the teenager is struggling in this particular area and, importantly, what to do to help them. A treatment plan can then be drawn up in terms of how the teenager can be empowered to master the life skills they don’t yet have. Subsequently, a selection of relevant worksheets (see Part Two) can form an integral part of the important transformative conversational work with the teenager.
