ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on a narrative intervention programme to enhance the understanding and facilitating the expression of narratives or stories in students with varied speech, language and communication needs in the later primary years and in secondary schools. It details the twenty first session of the programme. In this session a facilitator needs to conduct a fun quiz which explores the students’ understanding of the contents of the entire programme. They need to play ‘first on the buzzer’ game where students adopt a specific sound which they make as soon as they have the answer to the specific questions. It is important for students to get feedback so that they know the correct answers. The chapter provides a list of suggested questions for the quiz. Students to be encouraged to see this programme as simply the start of their journey into learning and loving language, storytelling and communication.
