ABSTRACT

Couples, families and work colleagues establish a culture. It may perhaps be a warm playful culture or a culture of dullness under which there is a volcano of unspoken feelings, or a hostile, stressful culture. People often don’t stand back to look at the culture they have created together in order to see whether they are satisfied with it or not and whether overall it is good or bad for their physical or mental health. Without stepping back and reflecting, negative group and relationship cultures can so easily become rigid and habitual.
