ABSTRACT

Ironically, when there is a basic level of goodwill, love and compassion in a relationship, expressing vulnerable feelings will often stop the row. Think how ‘disarming’ it is when one person in the middle of a row has a moment of ‘midsight’ and says something like, ‘I'm realising that I'm ranting and raving about you not liking me anymore. Actually, I think it is fear I'm feeling. I'm scared maybe you don't like me enough to want to spend so much time with me.’
