ABSTRACT
Commodities and the law of value do exist in a socialist society. The modern revisionists have a characteristic in common in their restoration of capitalism in the economic field; they try their utmost to exaggerate the theoretical value of the law of value and to promote the use of this law to regulate and control all social production. "The rule of value is in fact another point of view of the General Line." "Of all the laws, the law of value comes first." These absurdities advanced by Sun Yeh-fang are used to justify the "basing of our plans on the law of value" and to justify the use of the law of value to regulate all social production. Sun Yeh-fang attacked our country's socialist plan, which is subordinate to proletarian politics, by saying that the plan "is overcontrolled and has no flexibility.".
