ABSTRACT

The Ta-ma Road Office of the Changchun Municipal Bank in Kirin Province situated on a busy main street has a total of 131 workers. In the business district covered by this office, there are 364 industrial and commercial enterprises and over 35,000 workers households. Because of the continuously strengthened revolutionary sense of responsibility on the part of the workers and their serious sense of responsibility in work performance, the errors made by accountants and cashiers were respectively 76 and 95 percent lower than the permissible percentage stipulated by the higher-level bank. Through the supervisory function of the bank, they linked concrete business work with the goal of consolidating the dictatorship of the proletariat and strictly carried out the Party's policy and the state's financial and economic systems, thus making a contribution to the further consolidation of the dictatorship of the proletariat. Instead of depositing the proceeds realized therefrom in the bank, it even withdrew cash from the bank.
