ACTIVITY Talk to the children about instruction writing – how it is important for the instructions to be short and clear. Discuss the use of ‘bossy’ words to help others understand what they need to do. For example, ‘Take the yellow brick,’ and ‘Put the green brick on top of the blue brick.’ Discuss the use of lists and bullet points, modelling how to do them on the paper or whiteboard.
