ABSTRACT

This session moves on to support students in overcoming some of the factors that can affect their level of motivation. Some of these factors are directly related to them: the way they think about a situation, or the result of having an unhealthy diet. Others are linked to how secure they feel and whether or not they have a strong sense of belonging to the school itself. Having identified the sources of their demotivators, students will move on to identify positive steps they can take to reduce these demotivators. The need to be a resilient learner is introduced during this session.
