ABSTRACT
Making information accessible demonstrates that a service respects and values
the people they support. The target audience for publicity tends to be the social
worker, carer or family member rather than the individual who will be accessing the
service. Making the same information accessible to potential or existing service
users creates opportunities for people with learning disabilities to be involved in
purchasing services or support and accessing activities and events.
