ABSTRACT
When changes occur that are unexpected, not understood or not prepared for,
that change can have a significant impact on a person with a learning disability,
especially if they are autistic or have autistic traits. Change can cause uncertainty,
distress, anxiety, confusion, fear, insecurity and feelings of being out of control.
