Friends, pets, family members (close/wider), neighbours, teacher/nurse. Do you see (and how often) extended family members? Do you get on with your brothers and sisters? Who else comes to the house to help? Do you know why they come? Who comes to the house to help with the person cared for? Interests, holidays, pets. Do you belong to any groups or clubs? Would you like to? How often do you go? Do you go out regularly with friends? What types of things do you do? Are there any other things going on which you think we should know about or could help and support you with? Who would you talk to if you could choose someone? Other Ideas Could put information randomly on sticky notes (primary) - then put them in structure on a worksheet (secondary). Family tree/computer images. Use stones or shells to represent people in family and relationships. Use puppets for relationships/significant events playing out. Use people cards to represent members of family/friends/support network.
