Session 5 Endings - focus on the support previously identifiedHow do you think you will manage?Find a comparison within your own life of a time of change - how was it?Reassure and remind about the work covered in the sessions Reaffirm ways of coping.Offer to find out about any National Helplines, medical or practical information etc.Prepare for ending of these sessions by encouraging thinking around:- if this was our last session, what would you wish you had said?Help to bring out and face any difficult feelings about finishing the sessions.Ask if there is anything left over they would like to look at during the final session?Ask permission to talk to professionals/parent/referee with anything relevant that has come out of these sessions.
