ABSTRACT

What to do In an initial session, or if the group members seem reluctant to mix, point out the importance of participants becoming acquainted and feeling comfortable talking to each other. Distribute copies of the handout ‘Similarities and differences’ and ask everyone to walk around and talk to each member of the group in turn, introduce themselves, note down the name of each person they talk to and one thing they have in common and one thing that is different about them.
