ABSTRACT
Teachers may wish to consider having photographs or a video of the training sessions available at the assembly or on a display board in the school for the other children to see and become familiar with role of the Champions in the school. They may find it useful to dedicate a notice board within school to the programme. This would enable they to display photographs of the children during their training workshops, or at their work helping or befriending other children in the playground. Some schools may feel that they would like to design an intranet Playground Champions website which children could visit for information and share ideas. Teachers may wish to explore the idea that the Champions could offer support to the children via email. The programme aims to develop the emotional, personal and social skills of the supporters and those they help.
