ABSTRACT

This Toolkit is provided to offer some guidance for how to use How Monsters Wish to Feel as a basis for targeted therapeutic, resilience-enhancing work on a 1:1 basis (e.g. during ‘Special Time’ with a child or you person) or with a small group of vulnerable students. However, the Toolkit is not envisaged to be simply a one-off resiliency-building therapeutic intervention, but a way of beginning the interactive and dynamic ongoing process of examining and nurturing resiliency in a student.
