ABSTRACT
Assemblies creating the whole-school ethos people promote the school ethos every day in school assemblies. People have a huge world map and the first thing people do to open the assembly is use a pointer stick to find the country where the music came from. The songs are not traditional music from that country; the aim is to show that music of all genres comes from countries all over the world and people in Bulgaria may well be listening to the same type of music as people are, yet in a different language. The aim is to bring the wide world into the assembly every day; people are promoting interest in the world around us because ther are part of that world. Every week he select images from The Guardian online 'Photo highlights of the day' to show in assemblies. The are photographs taken from around the world in the last 24 hours.
