ABSTRACT

Not only have our leisure activities been transformed but also, as the use of the internet has grown (Teng and Huang, 2012), it has changed how people conduct every aspect of their daily lives (Khvorostianov et al, 2012). People are now more able to work from home (Nie and Erbring, 2000); they can buy their groceries online (Morganosky and Cude, 2000); they have new opportunities for social networking (Nayar et al, 2012); and they can be assisted by electronic gadgetry in their own homes (Verdonck et al, 2011). They even have online access to education (Takacs, 2005), health information (Christensen and Griffiths, 2000) and discussion forums (Kummervold et al, 2002).
