ABSTRACT

The Ch'in dynasty (221-206 B.C.) was the first feudal dynasty in Chinese history. The feudal unity established by ChTin Shihhuang (259-210 B.C.) and the series of political measures he took could not simply be attributed to accidental reasons. They were the inevitable result of social historical development at that time.
