ABSTRACT

Eating disordered person may now be more aware of their Parts and their reactions to various situations in their everyday life. But it's very common to think that feelings, thoughts, judgments, and beliefs about food, eating, weight, and their body are different – that these are coming from someplace else, and have nothing to do with their Parts. As their Parts calm down, it will be easier for them to focus on one Part without all the others getting triggered and reacting as well. They may have already tried multiple ways to "fix" their food, eating, and weight. But now that they are more at peace with their Self and their Parts, they will be able to get their eating, food, and weight back in balance. A food plan can be an important and supportive tool to use during their recovery.
