ABSTRACT
The final chapter draws together the key findings of the research programme. Central to this chapter is the identification of principles for the sustainable hydrological management of wetlands, hence the discussion draws upon the evidence presented in previous chapters, to show that there are clear principles and practices linked to farmers' knowledge and identified through the hydrological research programme, which can contribute to the sustainable hydrological management of wetlands.
