ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the Sustainable performance phase, the last phase of the 7FE Framework, which relates to the need to move from the business process management (BPM) activity to a business environment. That is, how the BPM activity links in with the Operate, Manage, Sustain aspect of the BPM House. This will then further link to the Organization Sustainability and Performance Management "roof" of the BPM House. The chapter reviews the transfer to sustainability and fine-tunes the organizational sustainability and performance management aspects, if required. It also describes how a BPM activity moves from a project or program basis to a business environment. The Sustainable performance phase will provide valuable input into other phases of the 7FE Framework. The main outputs will be to the Foundations and Enablement phases, with lessons learned being taken into future Launch pad phases.
