ACCOUNTING MATTERS REQUIRING SPECIAL ATTENTION There are some items in accounts where the analyst may need to exercise special care. We summarize them here under four headings: capital employed; fixed assets; working capital; profit and loss account. Most balance sheet items will also affect the profit and loss account.
