ABSTRACT

This chapter explores twofold, the first purpose is to overview the qualitative research method used and the second is to begin to introduce the findings. It focuses on the process of Authentic Leadership (AL) Group Coaching. Data are generated from various sources and constantly compared for consistent themes. The data for this research were obtained from two sources. First, there was a reflective log that each individual completed after each day of group coaching. Second, there was a recorded interview completed with each participant three months after the end of the programme. The GT processes have a degree of understanding and confidence in it as an appropriate method of data analysis and interpretation for AL Development. For AL Group Coaching, this level of understanding and explanation offers two benefits. First, it helps illuminate what is going on throughout the process; and second, it identifies the exact benefits of the process.
