In Chapter 8 four distinct areas of being-in-the-world-with-others were identified from students' accounts. Examples from the students' data illuminated being-with their student counterparts in the nurses' home; amongst others in the student cohort; giving of themselves to patients/clients/relatives, and also in relationships with supervisors in clinical practice. Caring and caring presence were identified as key features in interactions with others and the essence of Dasein was captured as being-with on an everyday basis.
