ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book shows that the biblical interpretations highlighted a central line of God-experience, God's paradoxical forgiving love. It is documented in the Book of Genesis, the Psalms and prophets. It is predominant in Jesus' parables and is concentrated in the records about his death on the cross as God's radicalized mystery of love. The just righteous God justifies man, for humans cannot justify themselves in their guilt. Thus, Saint Paul's conversion by virtue of the experience of God's righteousness and grace against the background of sinful captivity under the law completed this line of analysis. The book explores what people see almost all religions having in common, a vision of justice and peace for whose effectiveness for concrete implementation in education. It argues that moral values based on religion and spirituality can support good social order.
