ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on certain aspects of Sean’s life, and his movement into and out of homelessness. It addresses the issue of hope and recurrence through Nietzsche’s work on eternal recurrence, and using an extract from one of Žižek’s earlier and more famous applications of Lacanian theory, asks about what we see in relation to love.
