ABSTRACT
The success of BATXL can be largely contributed to their new organizational form, the business ecosystem. In Chapter 10, we discuss seven questions most frequently asked by business leaders: What are business ecosystems? How successful are the Chinese business ecosystems? What are the competitive advantages of business ecosystems? Which of the five Chinese business ecosystems is better? What are the challenges of business ecosystems? Do business ecosystems only function well in China? Can business ecosystems be adopted in traditional industries? The chapter concludes with practical insights and recommendations for further study.
