ABSTRACT

A Scope-worthy broadcast is one that has the perfect blend of actionable tips and personal experience. It's a much different experience watching something live and being first, versus something a day or more old and being the last to know. The main apps have 'double platform power'. With Facebook Live and Twitter's Go Live/Periscope, we get the in-built following that we already have on those platforms. Therefore, we have twice as much potential publicity for our shows than those using some other apps. There's spontaneity and intimacy about Periscope, and it can make fans feel like they are part of an inner circle if they are getting a unique live view of a personality or behind the scenes look at a business. Video is a great tool for product demos, because many people may want to refer to the recording several times to see our product in action before making a buying decision.
