ABSTRACT

The final pages of the book provide a summary of the analyses presented in this study and an overview of the essential points of the FPM theory that make it important and epistemologically ‘generous’ for today’s social theory. Several pathways that remain open for further theoretical and empirical research are mentioned. I conclude this book by returning to the question of the meaning of the Schutzian ‘discovery’ of the importance of the multiple realities in the context of his own biography and, particularly, in the light of his own major liminal situations.
