ABSTRACT
The need to relate to the primary terms/concepts and some of their consequential links and roles is satisfied here, central for the whole idea/ideology of the upcoming presentation. Obscurity pertaining to the terms stands as a crucial issue to the future of policymaking and implementation. Elaborating means defining preconditions and intellectual highways for a further theoretical and empirical exploration. The concepts are extensively used or abused by others in metaphorical extensions, active propagandistic activities and misinterpreted nuances. Further substance, both to the concepts involved and to that which is described and analysed, is provided. Periphery and margin are about distance and relations, geography and function. Rural is about structures. Countryside is mostly about landscape and culture. Rurality is also found within the soft dimensions of culture.
