ABSTRACT
The Bonoy cables 1 that had been ordered in Cavite to be used for mooring cables were brought on board that same afternoon and so contributed to speeding up our mooring and unrigging, which tasks were almost completed by the following day. Furthermore we had sent to Manila the greater part our equipment, books and instruments so that all the officers, whose first and essential duty now was to recover their health, could follow them without delay.
